    Treatments

    Using the industry-leading, Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods-registered MediLUX device, containing 5 wavelengths of power-packed, medical grade light therapy. All these colours can treat different skin conditions. In this treatment, we customise to your unique skin concerns.

    LED treatments with MediLUX utilise 1,500 powerful light emitting diodes ranging from blue to green, yellow, red and near-infrared. Each light wavelength targets different specific skin concerns, and treatment is commonly used to address acne congestion, facial redness, pigmentation, uneven tone, neck lines, wrinkles and signs of aging. Below, there is a video attached explaining all the different light colours. The beauty therapist will choose the right colour based on what you are wanting to treat.

    MUST come with fresh, cleanly washed skin to have treatment. If you come with makeup on the LED won't penetrate deep into the skin the way it should. There will be an added charge of $12 if you need to wash makeup off.

    What to expect? 

    During the treatment, the therapist will talk you through it before she turns on the light. It is placed far away from your face, so there is a good amount of room between you and the machine. At any point you feel uncomfortable, the therapist will remove the light. 

    Treatment preparation 

    • ​Please discontinue any products containing active ingredients 3 days prior to treatment, such as Retinol (Retin-A, Tretinoin, Vitamin A), Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, AHAs (Alpha-hydroxy acids), LHAs (Lipo hydroxy acids) and Benzoyl Peroxide. Avoid hydroquinone for 3 days before your treatment. 

    • 24 hours before treatment, dont spend an excessive amount of time in the sun

    • If you are burnt on your face, we will have to rescedule

    Treatment Aftercare 

    Apply 50+ sunscreen always. Your skin is more sensitive to sunlight for a day or two after this treatment
